The engagement session is the least formal portrait session a couple will ever have: no schedule to keep, no guests to manage, no ceremony to get to. That freedom is what makes the images feel like the two of you.
We photograph engagements with the wedding in mind. The session is where a couple learns how we direct, how it feels to be photographed together, and what kind of images they want more of on the wedding day. By the time the wedding arrives, the camera is familiar and the portraits go faster and feel easier.
